Open letter to my Russian & Ukrainian friends in the west

Words of encouragement from an elementary student

Dear Russian friends in the west,

It’s not you. Well, at least not directly.

The reality is that we Ukrainians are thinking about the war all the time. Even in our happiest moments, there is a level of despair in our hearts knowing our people in Ukraine are suffering because of the intentional terrorism inflicted by Russia.
